Messy Art

OK, so the kids have been begging to do art. School has been pretty basic these past few weeks. Reading, writing, math, history, language arts. So we got out food coloring and corn syrup and made some very messy art. It dries to look like stained glass, and is tasty to clean up. Why I did it while we are trying to sell the house I'm not sure (actually, I thought, "Great, I'll use up that old bottle of corn syrup in the cupboard--one less thing to deal with.") I think I'd bought it to make super-duper homemade bubble solution.
