Oh Brothers!

Does this look like a girl with three brothers or what? Actually in this picture she is bored waiting for the beginning of the final game for March Madness, but she's definitely an only daughter. She and I have been talking about getting out for some "Girl time." You know, go get our hair cut together, or to the Mall, or just someplace quiet where we don't get slapped on the bum. Hot cocoa and Scrabble at the coffee shop. In the meantime she's coping. Her friend Kendyl's mom told me after a sleepover at her house that Kendyl had tried to get Amelia to play princess with her. Instead, Amelia found a forked stick and got excited, saying, "Hey, this would make a great slingshot!"
