Joel has longed to look just like his cousin Logan, with long surfer-style hair. He has thick, fabulous blonde hair with lots of body. Unfortunately his stylist to date (moi) has trouble keeping such a style manageable. So this week when I went to trim his hair and he asked for it "Spiky, like Caleb's" I bit my lip and did it. This is the shortest his hair's been since he was a baby (it came off in 4-inch long locks!) I do miss his hair-it seemed to match his personality. In the meantime he keeps checking the mirror to see if he's still got his haircut. He says the new do makes him faster.
