Amelia is officially too cool for you. OK, not exactly, but she does have her own camera cell phone, and she did just take off on an airplane, by herself, across the country to visit Aunt Alisha, Uncle Jay and cousin Evelyn (Noni). We hear she got to go to the zoo (and see toads, Noni's favorites), eat out more in 3 days than she has in the last three months, and enjoy a cool Aunt & Uncle in a cool old house in a neat old town. She gets to play with Noni's toys ("She's got really fun toys, Mom"), read Noni books ("She gets mad if you read a book to yourself."), and imagine life with a little sister ("She's different, but not as much as I'd imagined."). I hear she has a new Webkinz (plush toy that comes with a code to play online games "with" your pet) courtesy of a doting Auntie & Uncle too. Big plans to visit the Butterfly pavilion and go to the Symphony are upcoming. So Amelia is too cool. I just hope she still wants to come home at the end of the week.
