J and his buddy Diego have a good time together. Diego likes the hubbub in our household, and joins in whenever he can. The boys currently have swimming lessons together, played soccer together, and can often be found busy at races, hide-and-seek, ninja play, or hanging in the ropes on the tree out front (better than it sounds). When we first came to look at this house, Diego (then 2) hollered "Hi" to us through his open front window, and once here, M's first word was "Diedo", which also meant playing outside.
It seems to flow both ways, since one of Diego's little sister's first words was "Doel."
