Ok, he's not a baby ("I two-half!" he will tell you), but when they're sick and cuddly, they're your babies. Little M was all cuddles today, running a fever and sitting in front of wayyyy too much Nick Jr. I didn't mind the cuddles, and once in a while copious amounts of Little Bear is probably ok. I'm just very relieved there was no vomit involved.
The big kids didn't mind either, as today was the first official "not-school" school day. We made a massive batch of bread dough and everyone got to shape their own loaf. C braided his, A made a big disk and decorated it with craisins in the shape of pomegranites. J's dough was made into a star-shaped loaf in a Pampered Chef star bread tube. Then we left M napping at home (Daddy worked at home today-yeah!), and all went to the library and signed up for the summer reading program, and J got his own library card, and got copious amounts of books (Mom didn't force non-fiction or genres on anyone today--though comic books don't count for the reading program!).
By this evening M was putting down the food and pestering his brothers, so all's well.
All-in-all a good first not-school day.
