Our time in Colorado this past summer was wonderful. I really loved times like these, when Mike's family (mom) and mine were together and we just enjoyed the kids and each other's company. Sometimes I'm sad that this can't happen all the time, like it was for me as a kid growing up. I really wish the kids could spend more time with their grandparents and great-grandparents (and not just because it's late and bedtime tonight was a three-ring-circus!). I will treasure moments like these.
