We take a break each school day for some play outdoors. I loved jumping rope as a kid and figured out that by tying a long rope to the van mirror, I can give the kids the same experience (the rope is a little light for the kids to take the other end and turn). It's become a hit in the cul-de-sac, with even the little ones taking turns at trying it out. Here Teresa, our neighbors' friend and stand-in nanny helps the kids on a sunny December day.
